Was browsing a forum and came across these old Metroid fan sites (that are still being updated in 2026!) and had to share.

What a wonderful nostalgia trip, right down to the font that's way too small for my old-man eyes.

And, to answer Planète Zebes's question, I was definitely chaud comme un Magmoor after such a long wait, even though reception was so poor I ended up not even buying the game...
