Contrary to the previous entry in the set, this is my favorite of the six, and I'm pretty okay with how the recording came out, too. The original has this kind of this weird, atonal sound going on, which I kept in the middle section of the arrangement, using a lot of whole-tone-scale-based harmonies and heavy parallel fifths in the bass, but I added some definite tonality to the beginning and end to make it more nocturne-like.
Like The Bolero of Fire, this is very accessible, so if you're looking for a good jumping-in point as far as learning my arrangements is concerned, this is a good option.
[Note: I notated all of the scores for this suite using MuseScore 1.x, and am in the process of updating them for MuseScore 2.x, which makes them look a lot nicer overall. It's just taking awhile. I'll post the scores to these video pages as soon as they're updated.]
