posted 22 October 2017 in Ocarina of Time Suite #1

This is the only work in the set that incorporates a lot of original material. While the Bolero of Fire in the game is accompanied by an actual bolero rhythm, the melody itself is pretty boring. In this arrangement, I weave it into some original melodic material to spruce it up a bit and give it a more authentic Latin bolero sound.

This one is probably the easiest of the six to play (though you could make that argument for The Nocturne of Shadow, as well), so if you want to try one of my arrangements but you're not quite sure what you're comfortable with, this would be a good place to start.

[Note: I notated all of the scores for this suite using MuseScore 1.x, and am in the process of updating them for MuseScore 2.x, which makes them look a lot nicer overall. It's just taking awhile. I'll post the scores to these video pages as soon as they're updated.]
